A downloadable game for Windows

This game was made for "Latin American Game Showcase Game Jam". All art, animations, music, and programming were made at the time of the jam. Enjoy.

The game approaches life through the idea of "ojos que no ven, corazones que no sienten". We chose to think of the title in the plural as a way to understand ourselves as Latin Americans trapped in a cycle of failed substitutions: bodies that adapt through prosthetics to a reductive mandate of happiness, spaces inhabited without belonging, bonds automated to the point of exhaustion. At its core, the game addresses the replacement of what has been lost — affections, rituals, rights, community — with blinding functional mechanisms, as if the Latin American subject could only carry on through distracting additions that do not repair but rather conceal a social reality in crisis. The gameplay does not seek redemption but rather aims to reveal the wear and tear of acting without agency, of inhabiting without roots, of moving without direction. One plays, then, as one survives: repeating inherited gestures, reproducing broken structures, forgetting — or naturalizing — the fracture that defines us, blinding ourselves in order not to feel.

The game is composed of minigames that simulate everyday actions of middle-class urban life in Latin America. Each mechanic metaphorically represents routine as a form of distraction: a sequence of gestures that exhaust, numb, and prevent one from facing an increasingly oppressive reality. The character's energy wears down over a week (7 days), during which a truth peeks through the window—one they would rather deny. In this fragmented landscape, functional prosthetics replace affections and bonds;  life is lived by inertia, with eyes cast downward. The absence of protest or social action is not accidental: it reveals a defeated subjectivity, for whom resistance is no longer possible—nor even imaginable.
