Knightmare

This game was made for "Code for a Cause - A Charity Game Jam". All art, animations, and programming were made at the time of the jam. Enjoy.

The theme of the game jam was Keep Moving Forward, we decided to go for a fun approach in which a princess who is in a hurry chooses to ignore her knight and walk on her own without stopping, and it is the knight's task, despite his heavy armor, to catch up with her and protect her from all the enemies that are in the way. And this is how the nightmare of the knight starts.

The princess is quite fast so the knight will need moral support, and there is nothing better than your screams and war cries to motivate him and make him go faster and faster, but watch your voice because over time the knight will become increasingly deaf and you will have to shout louder and louder.

Also, the bandits on the road will not make it easy for you since you will have to randomly face one of three small minigames to beat them.

• In one you will have to press the key repeatedly as fast as you can.
• In another, you will be given a sequence of random keys to press that you will have to complete to defeat him.
• The last one is a precision minigame in which you will have to press the key at the right moment.
