The First Ayar

The legend of the four Ayar brothers is a well-known story that explains the foundation and beginning of the Inca empire at the hands of Manco Capac, formerly known as Ayar Manco. He and his three brothers embarked on a journey in which, after multiple tragedies, he was left alone to start the great Inca empire.

However, little is known about the rest of his brothers beyond their tragic deaths.

This story is about the eldest brother of all, Ayar Cachi, who according to the legend had superhuman strength capable of turning mountains into valleys. His brothers decided to set a trap for him and lock him up waiting for his death, but what really happened to him afterwards? It is something that only a few know.

The First Ayar is a typing-game in which you can transport yourself to the ancient Peruvian Andes, time before the Incas, when according to legends, its founder Manco Capac began his journey with his brothers.

As we celebrate Latino Heritage Month, The First Ayar pays tribute to the rich Andean culture. Embark on an adventure with the first of the Ayar brothers,  learning about the Andean culture and its language Quechua along the way.

We use some suggested Challenges:

• Lengua Indígena - Use an indigenous language of Latin America (i.e. Nahuatl, Quechua, Guarani, Aymara, Mapundung, etc.)
